A: Not quite. A knowledge base just stores what you put into it. The Living Brain works more like an evolving knowledge layer: it grows with you over time, actively surfacing connections across your context so the output you get from your agents keeps getting smarter.

A: You get a default Brain automatically, every interaction and integration you connect can populate it. You can also create additional Living Brains, and you can migrate memory from ChatGPT or Claude to help train it.

As part of our integration and partnership with Google, ChatChat has completed CASA verification, which includes end-to-end encryption along with a full set of security and data-handling standards.
